DMD, MS, FACP

Dr. Kang is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He completed his DMD degree and his Prosthodontics Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. For over 25 years, he has provided high-quality, personalized patient care in simple to advanced Prosthodontics, Esthetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Kang is currently a Professor at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Before moving to the West Coast, he was a Professor and Director of the Prosthodontics Residency Program and the Digital Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry Fellowship Program at Tufts University.

Dr. Kang has contributed to numerous scientific and clinical publications in the fields of Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry and Digital Dentistry. He has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Prosthodontics and was Co-Editor for the digital editions of “ACP Study Guide for Board Certification in Prosthodontics”.

Dana Dinica DDS is a general dentist practicing comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry for more then 23 years. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania. She completed the Postgraduate Program at Loma Linda University and passed the Dental Board of California in 2003.Since than she practices in beautiful Mission Viejo where she resides with her husband, son and her standard poodle.

She is an Associate Professor at West Coast University, member of the American Dental Education Association, American, California, and Orange County Dental Associations, and to maintain her expertise in the most advanced procedures, she completes numerous hours of continuing education every year. When not in the office she is enjoying hiking, traveling and reading.

She is a gifted dentist who enjoys performing complicated general and cosmetic procedures for adults and children. She has a lovely personality, and her manner is calm and kind. Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up to date with the latest advances in dentistry enable her to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field.

Dr. Dinica has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative to surgical treatments. Her approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to her patients. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, she reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you. Our patients rave about his thoroughness and attention to detail.

Dmitry graduated from Russian State University with a Master’s degree in Metrology,

Standardization and Quality Management. In 2010, he narrowed his focus to the field of Dentistry and studied for an additional 3 years as a dental technician at the Vladimir State Medical College.
Dmitry worked in Moscow producing metal-free restorations from zirconium dioxide for 3 years, then – with an extensive understanding of each stage of denture production – entered digital design. He developed a deeper knowledge of morphology and the basics of an aesthetic smile, as well as anatomy, gnathology, and the mechanical workings of the temporomandibular joint. During this time, he also advised colleagues from other laboratories in Moscow and Vladimir.

In 2018, Dmitry was invited to the United States to a large dental laboratory to improve the quality and speed of total work on implants with a focus in All on 4, All of 6, and other related productions. He introduced dynamic digital design software tools and implemented virtual simulations of jaw movement in the protocol, improving the quality of final restorations.

During this time, he upgraded a separate dental office in Los Angeles from analog to digital. This served to speed up production and allowing for a more streamlined patient experience. Patients were given a customized visual model of each stage of the treatment providing clarity and predictability of results, timeline, number of visits, and expected financial investment. This served to reduce number of unneeded patient visits and increase successful, completed treatments, as well as improve the aesthetic level and quality of the work performed.

Today, Dmitry successfully manages all types of dental work, including implant planning, orthodontic treatment with caps, as well as removable and fixed prosthetics.

DDS, Maxillofacial Prosthodontist

Dr. Xuan Yue is a maxillofacial prosthodontist. She received her bachelor’s degree in
bioengineering from UCLA. After completing her undergraduate career, she decided to combine her passion and her strength and follow the family tradition of becoming a dentist.

Dr. Yue received her dental degree from UCLA and went through a one-year general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She felt the urge to further advance her knowledge and skills and completed a three- year Advanced Prosthodontics specialty training at her alma mater UCLA  She then completed a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oral Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas where she was trained to treat and restore patients who have gone through cancer treatment.

Dr. Yue’s practice is limited to prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics. She specializes in
complex restorative, implant and removable dentistry. Dr. Yue strives to provide the best treatment for her patients. She stays up-to- date with current dental developments and new technology by attending continuing education courses. Dr. Yue is a fellow of American College of Prosthodontics, a fellow of American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. She also serves as a part time faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry.
